Warren Walker is a composer and producer who plays saxophone and synthesizers. He operates in an effervescent musical universe that is in constant flux and infuses jazz with widescreen inspirations. In both the studio and live arena, he has found creative harmony with drummer Antonin Violot.

They combine their forces to great effect on their debut EP which came together in organic fashion and was mostly recorded live. Its mix of electronic and acoustic instruments is a seamless fusion of different worlds and techniques that explores all new ground and is deeply emotive.

The group’s mythology is inspired by vivid cinematic universes, such as the enigmatic andmorbid “Tusk,” where a man dreams of finding the walrus residing in every human being…According to their devoted fanatics, what truly sets the BIG TUSK apart is the exceptional harmony thatcharacterizes the relationship among group members. This synergy gives the listener the privilegedsensation of observing a mythological creature metamorphosing through various universes. The music project LYDER was born from a fascination with the instrumental playing practice of jazz as well as the love to electronic music production. Under their collaborative pseudonym, Lindsey Wang (‘Polygonia’ – live electronics, vocals, violin), Niklas Bühler (‘Delusional Circuits’ – live electronics, piano) and Moritz Stahl (‘odizouu’ – live electronics, saxophone) combine jazz and techno by fusing improvisation, live-looping and sound effects into an immersive electroacoustic experience.

Their broad musical mood spectrum ranges from harmonic and emotional soundscapes to fast, driving rhythms, which create a hypnotic undertow through multi-faceted sound design.

505 blends electronic and acoustic instruments and explores a wide range of musical styles, including Trip-Hop, Electronica and Jazz. Daniel Calvi’s guitar and synthesisers blend harmoniously with Mattia Prete’s complex electronic rhythms, allowing the band to present a unique and eclectic sound.

The group is dedicated to improvisation and experimentation, and continually evolves its performances by inviting other versatile musicians, which allows each concert and album to be fresh and distinctive.

Their sounds are reminiscent of groups such as Portishead, Massive Attack and Tricky. Their recent releases, as well as their participation in festivals such as Fusion Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival highlight their talent and stage presence.

Trumpeter Aki Himanen and drummer Aleksi Kinnunen form an explosive duo that fuses Scandinavian jazz with the pulsating rhythms of techno music.

They are constantly searching for new ways in which man and machine can create a real dialogue. Improvisation, spontaneity and musical communication are at the heart of their work.

The music is dark, intense and a poetic mix full of hypnotic mental images. It is reminiscent of Scandinavian landscapes where nature and technology gently merge. A suspenseful night drive somewhere between futuristic mountains where dawn is setting and darkness fades away in a slow and wonderful way.

The Berlin based duo Flat Maze embodies the essence of the concept of Techno-Jazz. Their mix between the instrumental solos of jazz piano talent Uri Gincel and the deep techno grooves ofproducer Stefano Mori, results in an innovative signature sound which perfectly fits the artistic manifesto oflabel Jazz-o-Tech.The title track “Dick Dunker” is a smooth blend betweeen the inspiring jazz harmonizations and the dancerhythms that create a perfect combination of sounds, fit for both radio programs and dance clubs. Similarly “Room 111” and “Vollnarkose” are two powerful statements of Flat Maze vision where theharmonies and solos of Uri’s piano fill the abstract spaces created by Stefano’s synths and drum machines.Flat Maze duo featured also in “White Gardenia vol 1”, the first vinyl EP released by Jazz-o-Tech that has been supported by: Rai Radio 3 (IT), Jet Set Tokyo (JP), Avopolis Music Network (GR), Studio Brussel(BS), 808 Radio (SP), Radio Krimi (FR).

Born in Tel-Aviv, jazz pianist Uri Gincel came to Berlin in 2009 and quickly became one of the most indemand piano players on the scene, Uri toured the world with many projects, including “Uri Gincel Trio” and“Bonaparte”. Only in the last couple of years Uri started working with electronic music, and has recorded and preformedwith Bruno Pronsato and the electronic duo “Tyoma”, combinating their art with important collaborations likeMatthew Herbert.Stefano Mori is an italian music producer, visual artist and live performer based in Berlin.

With his solo project,Stefano also known as Elephant Kodex, released under the independent German Label Fucksklang record andplay around Berlin with different dj collectives (Mechatronica, Drei Groschen Disko).Jazz-o-Tech’s is a new record label based between Berlin and Milan.The label’s signature style is an elegant combination of improvisation, acoustic “live” sounds and electronicmusic grooves mixed between jazz and techno music, promoting experimentation and eliminatingboundaries between two forms of avant-garde, electronic music and Jazz.

Mattia Prete is a Berlin-based multifaceted artist, label manager, and promoter whose highly ambitious electronic music is influenced by club styles such as techno and electronica, merged with the intricate rhythms of jazz and organic instruments.

Inspired by the unbridled creativity of these genres, Prete’s work in the studio is infused with sci-fi futurism and the immersive, expansive nature of film soundtracks, resulting in a unique sound that has gained him acclaimed support from the international underground scene. He signed his debut with “Moon, Please Don’t Go Away” in 2020 on Jazzotech, the label he manages, and has since released a vinyl EP titled “Life is Waiting” on the experimental “Faith Disciplines” label, as well as a series of singles such as “Palettes” and “Zamovliannia” which featured classical musicians from some of the Dnipro’s Philharmonie.

As the label manager and A&R of Jazzotech, Prete has laid the foundation for a new club scene through the creation of original productions and live events featuring jazzists and electronic musicians.

One of his most inspiring projects is the Double LP “This is Techno Jazz,” which brings together artists like Stanislav Tolkachev working with Finnish band Himanen & Kinnunen, Katharina Ernst with Spanish techno innovator Reeko, Tensal with Turin jazz band TUN, Fabrizio Rat, and trombonist Gianluca Petrella, among others. This project has also inspired a party of the same name at Kantine Am Berghain and Sage beach, featuring legends and innovators such as Matthew Herbert, Fabrizio Rat, and Studnitzky.

As a DJ, Prete has a broad sound and uses silence as a tool to increase the dynamics of his music, selecting fluid and selective genres such as Techno, Modern Classical, Jazz, Electronica, and Broken Beat, always built on strongly propulsive grooves. He likes to take risks and experiment in all kinds of situations, as he has learned from hundreds of hours as a resident at Amigdala, one of Rome’s most prestigious parties. As part of the Beat Movement project (from 2010 to 2020), he has toured the best clubs in Europe, from Tresor to Griessmuhle in Berlin, from Street Party Pristina in Kosovo to Lärm in Budapest and the Moog Club in Barcelona, releasing music with acclaimed techno artists such as Umwelt, Tolkachev, Mulero, Sharpe, and Shxcxhxchxhchx.

Prete recently co-founded the Garden 505 recording studio and his 505 band project with Daniel Calvi, aiming to redefine electronic rhythms with a more sensitive triphop sound, using live electronics and organic instruments to give his grooves a trippy detail or electric texture that makes them even more engaging and enchanting.

The trio formed by Gianni Denitto (sax), Fabio Giachino (synth) and Mattia Barbieri (drums/drum pads) that crosses genre boundaries by fusing techno rhythms with jazz. The band has played at major festivals and clubs such as Jazz Re:found, JazzMi, JazzAhead Bremen, Gate of Tehran, Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Jazz Rallye Luxembourg, Sichtfeld Openair Switzerland, Internet Festival Pisa, Tunel Club Tirana, Chiasso Jazz Festival.

They collaborate permanently with singer Dub FX with whom they have played live for Eurovision Village Stage, Schwerin City Fest, Alta Felicità Fest, Peckham Levels in London, Band On The Wall in Manchester.

In 2022 they composed the anthem for the European Swimming Championships in Rome, and the song Sahara was selected as the theme song for the RAI podcast “Girls with Guns.” They also toured Germany and Albania & Kosovo with the support of Italia Music Export and the Ministry of International Cooperation.
